Volunteer to Make a Difference!

Volunteers give back to their communities in so many ways. Volunteers can be parents who want to be good stewards of the land and set examples for their children, retired people willing to share their wealth of knowledge, concerned citizens of all ages who want to learn more about conservation, and passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to spread the word about America's greatest natural treasures.

Volunteering gives you a chance to be active, meet new people, learn new skills, and see new places. More importantly, volunteering provides you with an opportunity to make a difference. Many organizations and programs depend on the help of their volunteers to be successful.

How much time does it take to volunteer? The answer is up to you. Even if it's just a few hours each month, the benefits are well worth it.

The Chequamegon Bay Birding and Nature Festival would not be possible without the help of many volunteers, including our outstanding program leaders. If you are interested in helping with the festival this year, please let us know. We need volunteers to help with registration, room setup, clean up, and many other activities. To volunteer, call Kevin Lowry at 715-685-2645.
